Primary Responsibilities:
- Create the schedule for production lines, monitor adherence and make adjustments as needed using an enterprise resource planning system (SAP) and other digital tools
- Communicate and schedule material needs for sibling factory shipment of finished goods
- Collaborate with Transportation team and Warehouse teams to manage incoming shipment logistics
- Coordinate with vendors to acquire packing materials in line with production scheduling needs
- Maintain master data of each material type including but not limited to lead time, vendor information and safety stocks
- Create and maintain bills of materials (BOM) for finished goods produced within the factory
- Collaborate within cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for waste reduction and efficiency improvements
REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- 1+ year of experience working in production planning, inventory and/or scheduling in a manufacturing, warehouse, military or related environment
