Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement processes and procedures to ensure Site compliance with company and regulatory agency policies, including federal, state and local legislation and regulations pertaining to Safety and Health.
- Analyze SH&E conditions and behaviors and recommend changes to continuously improve Site SH&E performance.
- Routinely walk Projects, Contractor work sites, and areas where maintenance is being performed to ensure safety compliance per OSHA regulations.
- Evaluate compliance with personal protective equipment requirements, check on contractor training and review safety paperwork (hot work permits, confined space permits, daily checklists, etc.).
- Administer training programs associated with safety and health including “train the trainer” sessions to build capability of line supervision.
- Coordinate and conduct Industrial Hygiene monitoring as needed according to schedule.
- Collaborate to foster and develop a culture where safety and health are ingrained as a core value with all associates
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED required.
- 3+ years’ experience in a safety role in production, manufacturing, agriculture, industrial, military or related environment.
