Role and Responsibilities
As a Technical Sourcing Specialist, you will play a crucial role in identifying and attracting top talent within the semiconductor industry. You will work closely with recruiters and hiring managers to build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for various technical roles. Your ability to understand the nuances of the semiconductor industry and identify candidates with specialized, niche skills will be key to your success in this role.
- You collaborate with recruiters and hiring managers to understand the specific needs and requirements of open positions in the semiconductor industry.
- You utilize various sourcing techniques, including Boolean searches, social media, job boards, networking, and other creative methods to identify potential candidates.
- You build and maintain a talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs, focusing on roles such as design engineers, process engineers, test engineers, and other specialized positions within the semiconductor industry.
- You screen and pre-qualify candidates by conducting initial phone screens, assessing their technical skills, experience, and cultural fit.
- You develop and maintain relationships with potential candidates, keeping them engaged and informed about opportunities within the company.
- You stay updated on industry trends and market conditions to better understand the competitive landscape and sourcing challenges in the semiconductor sector.
- You work closely with the recruitment team to track and report on sourcing metrics, ensuring continuous improvement in sourcing strategies.
- You assist in employer branding initiatives to enhance the company’s presence and attractiveness to potential candidates in the semiconductor industry.
Skills and Qualifications
- 3+ years of technical sourcing experience for both passive and active talent within the semiconductor industry.
- Strong understanding of the semiconductor industry, including key roles, technologies, and market trends.
- Expertise utilizing sourcing tools and techniques, including LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, social media platforms, and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build relationships with candidates.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated and proactive, with a strong desire to learn and grow in the talent acquisition field.
