You Will Be Responsible For :

Fabrication & Welding of new steelwork projects to an execution class 3/Sector Scheme standards. This will include shop fabrication and site installation.
Bridge structure repairs - mechanical and welded.
Undertaking all aspects of bridge maintenance works including routine and cyclic activities, which can include litter picking.
Driving/Plant: Carry out vehicle checks, movement of materials, vehicle cleaning, minor maintenance when required.
Safety: Working safely individually and within a work team is of high importance and employees need to ensure their safety and that of their team members.
Record Keeping: Completing pre-use inspections of vehicles, plant and equipment where required. Completion of daily work records and cyclic check sheets, record.

Completion of weekly electronics timesheets.
Emergency standby team (incurs additional payment). This involves a rotational 1 full week of emergency standby cover.
Emergency rescue team participation (full training provided).
Working at Height.
Confined Space.
Assisting other trades as required.
